                               RESOLUTION NO. 19147
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
                   CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 4000 BLOCK
                   OF HAWTHORNE STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                                                   
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to purchase certain property located in the 4000 block of
       Hawthorne Street from Carl L. Gibson for $5,102.00, said property 

       described as follows:
            Lots 87-92 and parts of Lots 93 and 94, Ridgeview
            Heights.  Plat Book 1037, Page 401 as recorded in the
            Register's Office of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
           
            The above description being taken from the below-
            referenced prior deed of record.  No new survey or
            property description has been prepared.
           
            SUBJECT to any and all governmental zoning and
            subdivision ordinances or regulations in effect thereon.
           
            SUBJECT to all unpaid taxes, if any, for this and
            previous years.
           
            The above-described property is unimproved property.
           
            Source of Grantor's equitable interest is a Quitclaim
            Deed recorded in Book 3736, Page 812, Register's Office
            of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
